What are the treatment sessions like?
Quick and easy! After your initial preparation, Diane will move a wand-like handpiece over your skin. Using state of the art technology, the Palomar IPL emits a ray of light that disables the hair follicles. Most people perceive the light as a gentle "snapping" and warm sensation. Not painful, just a minor discomfort.
What should most people expect after treatment?
It is not uncommon to experience some mild redness and tenderness shortly after treatment. This does not interfere with normal activities and usually subsides within a day. You can return to your regular activities immediately after treatment.
How many laser hair removal treatments will I need?
Our laser hair removal technology destroys hairs that are in the active growth phase, so repeat treatments will be needed to target hair that was not affected at the time of previous laser hair removal treatments. Normally five to six laser hair removal treatments are recommended to get the optimum results.
What results can I expect from laser hair removal?
At the end of the laser hair removal treatment program you can expect your skin in the treated area to remain hair-free and smooth. Permanently!
