Fuller lips are definitely a sign of youth, but as we age we loose
the collagen that surrounds the border, then lips can shrink and form
lip lines. Most of us do not want those huge, movie star lips
that we see in magazines. But fortunately lips can be made more
youthful by softly enhancing them with Juvederm, an FDA approved
filler treatment.
Kris Pinto, RN has been certified for dermal filler treatments for
over 20 years. She takes the necessary time to evaluate the size and
proportions of your lips. The lower lip should be slightly larger
than the upper, and she will adjust the filler accordingly to ensure
this natural appearance. First she fills in the "tube" or
border which softens the lip lines. If any lip lines remain, she adds
Juvederm in very small amounts to soften them, taking care to assess
and evaluate the effect as she goes. The overall outcome is your own
lips but softer and more defined! If lips are done well, they don't
look "done" at all, and the focus on your face goes to your
eyes.
Juvederm lasts up to a year. The procedure is pain free as dental
blocks are used. Swelling can occur but lasts only a few days. Arnica
is prescribed to prevent bruising. With the Juvederm savings this
